DESIGN SUGGESTIONS
-
Keep it simple and do not overload your
poster with too much information.
-
Identify a few principal messages then work
out the most beffective way to present them.
-
An ideal poster will attract attention,
provide a brief overview of your work, and
initiate discussion.
-
The poster should indicate abstract title,
authors and affiliation in the headings.
-
Choose a headline to highlight each point
and use large/bold type for the headings.
-
Subheadings such as Objectives, Methods, and
Results can be helpful.
-
Text on posters should be visible from 1 to
2 m (3 to 6 feet, approximately).
-
Charts, tables, graphs and pictures should
be used to enhance your poster, not
overcrowd.
-
Color is attractive and provides emphasis.
Out of courtesy to the red/green color blind,
we suggest thzt you do not use these colors.
